Entertainment Features Writer & Celeb Interviewer: I have written film, television and general features, plus news and interviews for Empire, Total Film, the BAFTA magazine, Press Association, Us Weekly, The Sun, The Mirror and The Observer amongst others.

Assistant News Editor: At Look, I proposed and chose content, managed the team, wrote stories and occasionally edited the front section of the magazine.

Web Journalist: I have worked as an online journalist for AOL, BBC Online, Daily Mail Online, Empire Online and Press Association. I have significant experience producing entertainment multimedia content for the Internet.

Press Association’s Hollywood Bureau Chief: Between 2005 and 2007, I set up and ran the PA Los Angeles bureau, providing all of PA’s showbiz copy from the West Coast. I also oversaw the reporting team, organised all the forward planning and booked the interviews. This included film and television press junkets, red carpet premieres, covering the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys.

Television Producer: I also worked in television for many years. I was London and Los Angeles producer of Channel Five’s The Movie Chart Show. I was an entertainment producer for Associated Press Television News, Channel 4 and ITV.

Author: I have just written a biography of Robert Downey Jr. which is out now. I also co-wrote Television’s Strangest Moments, published by Robson in August 2005.

Teacher: Since 2008, I have taught journalism to undergraduates at the University Of Hertfordshire part-time.
